Algae Park partners with over 50 Malay Muslim Bumiputera farmers and manages its own livestock farms. Our modern, enclosed chicken coops promote healthy growth and environmental sustainability. Each chicken reaches maturity in about 35 days under expert Health Team supervision, ensuring all products are halal.
Our cattle barn, completed in September 2008, spans an impressive 3,500 square meters and houses a variety of facilities, including feed storage, a slaughtering area, and a control tower. The facility features three dedicated barns:
Barn A: 40 ft x 120 ft
Barn B: 60 ft x 110 ft
Barn C: 12 ft x 30 ft
Additional amenities include a feed processing area, manure collection site, administrative office, staff quarters, guest house, and cold storage for meat, ensuring every stage of livestock management runs efficiently.
Cattle and goats are primarily fed fresh grass and green leaves, with Napier grass (especially the superior Taiwan variety) being highly recommended for goat feeding. This grass is rich in fiber for healthy digestion, contains 10–14% protein, and is smooth enough to prevent mouth injuries. In addition, goats are given nutrient-rich pellets to ensure a well-balanced diet that supports their overall health and vitality.
